In the third quarter of 2024, the social networking landscape in Belarus saw varied performances among the top five applications on a unified platform. These insights, sourced from Sensor Tower, provide a detailed look at the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for each app.

Threads, developed by Instagram, Inc., saw a notable increase in downloads, starting with approximately 12.7K in early July and peaking at around 25.8K by late August. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at about 159.5K and maintaining a steady presence around 160.4K by the end of September.

Telegram Messenger from Telegram FZ-LLC experienced consistent revenue growth, beginning at roughly $12.3K in July and climbing to $25.8K by the end of September. Downloads showed a general downward trend, starting at 23.6K and decreasing to 17.9K. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 3.1M throughout the quarter.

Rakuten Viber Messenger saw a moderate increase in revenue, with figures rising from $684 to $1.5K over the quarter. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at about 17.6K, followed by a slight decline to 12K towards the end. The app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users reaching over 4M in early September.
